No need for "tamper proof" ID

The President, pimping for the immigration bill, boasts about a "tamper proof" national ID card.  We don't need such a card.  The President will say anything in an attempt to pass the terrible Senate bill.  The card, which would never be tamper proof, solves no problem.  The problem is that American employers do not want to know that the person they are hiring at low wages is illegal.  If the employers would support the existing law simple measures are available now.

For example, can the job applicant speak any english?  How about a simple reading aloud test.  For example, "Read me the first 4 pages from this book about Snow White."

When we do not enforce the laws that we have on the books now our politicians are deceptive when they pretend that laws proposed for the future would be obeyed.  The battle is really between the American people and American business seeking ever increasing profit by exploiting both the illegal aliens and the American people who must pay the health care, welfare, and education bills of the illegals.  The business tactic, which is having much success, is to buy the votes of our politicians.
